The supermarkets of Asda have remained open during the coronacrisis. But the virus has changed the way people are shopping, due to the measures that are taken and because of the limited contact sanctions.
The virtual quene must bring more safety to the customers during this virus pandemic.
Supermarket chain Asda experiments with a Virtual queue system. The system allows customers to log in to the waiting list and wait in their cars to enter the stores. Asda says that this test is an investment in longer-term social distancing measures. The supermarket chain let us know that two-thirds of the customers were still concerned about their safety in the supermarkets. Roger Burnley, theChief executive of Asda, said it was "increasingly clear that COVID-19 is set to be part of our lives for months to come". The virtual queue systems is now tested at the store in Middleton.
